April 28, 2022 Mr. Chen Shunqiang, chairman of Wangshui and Tao Co., Ltd., together with his employees and led by Mr. Yuan Huiwen, a national technical expert, paid a special visit to Mr. Li Renli, a national-level arts and crafts master, in Qinzhou City, known for its Nixing pottery, one of China's four famous potteries.
Mr. Li Renli
began learning Nixing pottery techniques in 1973. He is a native of Qinzhou. Over the years, he has created and designed more than 500 works, with over 50 winning domestic and international awards. His representative works include "High Drum Flower Zun," "Zhuangxiang Pomegranate Vase," "Four Gods Hanging Dish," "Purple Pottery Horn," and "Heaven and Earth Righteousness Vase." His works are collected by the National Museum of China, the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, and museums in more than ten countries including Japan and Singapore.
Today, Master Li Renli has not only won numerous honors, including National Model Worker and Guangxi Model Worker, but also enjoys special government allowances from the State Council.
However, at the age of over 70, he has not slackened. In addition to industry conferences and designing new products, in his spare time, he likes to stroll around Nixing pottery. When he sees young faces, he will enthusiastically give guidance. That day, he carved "Green Mountains and Green Waters" and "Integrity Bears the World" for our company's handicraft exhibition.
Finally, both sides had in-depth discussions and explorations on cooperation to promote the revival of late Southern Song Dynasty culture at Master Li Renli's exhibition hall over tea.
